Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be greeted by your representative from Blue Line Travels. Your representative will hold a sign with your name on it, After that, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by an air-conditioned car where you will spend the night

Day 2

Cairo - Pyramids

Start your day with breakfast and then prepare for an adventure with your tour guide who will come to your hotel to pick you up. You'll have the chance to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. head to Cairo to visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren. Next, you'll be taken to the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, which houses an impressive and valuable collection of art that spans over 5000 years of Egyptian history, including the famous Tutankhamen collection. After that, take a city tour along the Nile before heading back to your hotel for the night.

Day 3

Cairo - Sakkara

Your excursion to the Step Pyramids of Zoser in Sakkara will commence after breakfast, with your tour guide collecting you from your hotel. The pyramid in Sakkara is regarded as the earliest major stone structure in the world and is composed of a series of steps stacked atop one another, representing the first genuine attempt at pyramid construction in Egypt. Following your visit to Sakkara, you will journey to Memphis, which was the former capital of Egypt and established by the legendary King Menes during the Old Kingdom. Memphis served as a hub of power and culture for more than three millennia and was the first capital of Egypt. While exploring Memphis, you will have the opportunity to admire the impressive statue of Ramses II located within its grounds. During your southbound journey, you will stop by Dahshur to see the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid, tasting oriental lunch at the restaurant and you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4

Alexandria - Pompey's Pillar

After breakfast. The guide in Cairo will pick you up from your hotel and take you by road to Alexandria where your sightseeing will commence with a stop at Pompey's Pillar, then proceed to the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa. After that, you will have lunch at a conventional eatery in the downtown area. Following that, you will visit the spot where the ancient Lighthouse, which is one of the seven wonders of the world, stood and also visit the Qaitbey Castle located in the same vicinity. Day 5

Alexandria - Library of Alexandria

You will start your day by having breakfast at a nearby restaurant, followed by a visit to the Archaeological Roman Theater Site. Next, you'll head to the Library of Alexandria, which is the biggest library globally, boasting more than 8.5 million books covering various subjects. During this visit, you'll explore the main building and the museums. you'll enjoy an Oriental Lunch at one of the top restaurants. Then, you'll take a 30-kilometer drive along the Cornish, which will offer you a fantastic view of the seaside portion of Alexandria. This includes the Old Harbor, where approximately 7,000 underwater monuments have been discovered, and you'll also stop by the renowned Stanley Sea bridge, which is Alexandria's newest landmark. Your next destination will be the downtown area of Alexandria, where you'll witness the grand Abo El Abbas Mosque, the city's biggest mosque. You'll also get a glimpse of the statue of Alexander the Great, located at the eastern entrance of the city, as well as the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria. Finally, you'll spend the night in Alexandria.

Day 6

Alamein

After breakfast, you will be transported to El Alamein where you can take a tour of the area where two significant battles of World War II occurred between the Axis and Allied forces. Later, you will be taken to the lovely city of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean for a delicious Egyptian lunch and some leisure time on the beach. Day 7

Matrouh

Experience a delightful breakfast at the hotel in Matrouh and explore the city's famous blue mazes and distinct beaches. Matrouh boasts a stunning shoreline adorned with rock formations and caves amidst turquoise waters. One of the famous spots is Cleopatra's bath, where the rock has apertures on the ceiling that let sunlight permeate the water, creating a warm bathing environment. As per the legend, Queen Cleopatra and Marc Antony frequented this bath during their visits to Matrouh, along with many other pristine sandy beaches. Savor lunch on the immaculate white sand beach and spend the night in Matrouh.

Day 8

Matrouh - Cairo

We should begin our day with an early morning meal in the hotel, then proceed to make our way back to Cairo. you will be taken to Old Cairo to start your Coptic Cairo tour. This will include a visit to the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, which was constructed during the first century. Above the fortress are two towers, and suspended between them is the Hanging Church of the holy virgin Mary, a Coptic Orthodox Church. Additionally, you will explore the cavern church of Abu Serga and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Before being driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay, you will have lunch.

Day 9

Departure

After enjoying a gourmet breakfast at the hotel, your tour leader will be present to aid you both at the hotel and during your transfer to the airport.
