Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival Cairo - Welcome to Egypt
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your designated tour guide will be there to greet you. You will then be accompanied to the hotel in a comfortable and luxurious air-conditioned vehicle. Once at the hotel, the hotel assistant will facilitate a seamless check-in process and go over your holiday itinerary with you. This will ensure that pick-up times for each tour are established and confirmed. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo, and a welcome drink will be provided.
Day 2
Cairo: Pyramids & Sakkara Tour
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, followed by a rendezvous with your tour guide. You will embark on a journey to the Giza Plateau to marvel at the magnificent Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness the renowned Sphinx and the Valley Temple, which stand in the presence of the grand statue. As part of the tour, lunch will be provided. Afterward, you will proceed to the Sakkara area, where you will explore the Sakkara Complex and encounter the Djoser Pyramid, the first pyramid ever constructed. Continuing southward, you will visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, a renowned royal necropolis in Egypt that houses several famous pyramids, including those of King Snefru. Dahshur is located approximately 40 kilometres away from Cairo, the city. Concluding the day's adventures, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Cairo: Egyptian Museum, Salah El Din Citadel, Coptic Cairo
Take breakfast at your hotel. Following that, your tour guide will accompany you on a comprehensive day tour of Cairo. Your first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, located in Tahrir Square. Once you're done there, you will proceed to Salah El Din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. For lunch, you will be served at a local restaurant. Afterward, you will continue your journey to the area known as Islamic Cairo, where you will have the opportunity to explore Khan El Khalili, the old bazaar of Cairo. The next destination will be Coptic Cairo, where you will visit notable landmarks such as the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga. Finally, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 4
Fly to Luxor: Karnak & Luxor Temples
In the morning, following breakfast, you will depart from the hotel and proceed to Cairo Airport to catch an EgyptAir flight to Luxor. Once you arrive in Luxor, you will be transported in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your Luxor tour. The first part of the tour will take you to the East Bank of the Nile, where you will explore Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night aboard the cruise ship. If you wish, there is an optional tour available to attend the sound and light show at Karnak Temple.
Day 5
Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions
Following your morning meal aboard the Nile Cruise, partake in a delightful excursion in Luxor. Explore the impressive tombs of 62 Pharaohs, known as the Valley of the Kings. Next, you will visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a remarkable structure constructed by the architects of Pharaoh Hatshepsut during the 15th century BC in the New Kingdom era. Proceed to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, continue your journey by sailing to Edfu while enjoying a leisurely dinner onboard. Spend the night aboard the Nile Cruise.
Day 6
Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Start your journey by sailing to Edfu in the early morning, followed by a delightful breakfast aboard your Nile cruise. You will be served lunch on the ship before embarking on a visit to the Horus Temple, considered the most well-preserved cult temple in Egypt. Next, take an excursion to explore the temple shared by two gods, Sobek and Haeroris, in Kom Ombo. Afterward, return to the ship and indulge in afternoon tea while sailing towards Aswan. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night on board the cruise ship.
Day 7
Aswan Nile Cruise Excursions
After breakfast on the Nile cruise, spend the entire day exploring Aswan. Begin your sightseeing adventure by visiting the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk. This obelisk, known as the Unfinished Obelisk, can be discovered in the northern section of ancient Egypt's stone quarries. Following that, proceed to the enthralling Temple of Philae, a beautiful building dedicated to the deities Isis and Hathor. Finish the day with a delicious dinner and spend the night on the luxurious Nile Cruise.
Day 8
Tour to Abu Simbel
After breakfast on your Nile cruise, you will disembark and be transferred to your Aswan hotel for check-in. You will have free time to relax and explore Aswan on your own, and you will spend the night in Aswan. An excursion to the Abu Simbel Temples entails a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Aswan in a comfortable, private, air-conditioned car. When you get in Abu Simbel, you will be able to see Ramses II's beautiful Temples, which are dedicated to the four global gods: Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II.
Day 9
Aswan - Cairo - Fly Back Home
Following your breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your journey to Cairo. When you arrive in Cairo, you will be taken to Cairo International Airport for your final flight.
