Join us on this unique social and historic adventure as we tour the momentous Rosetta Citadel and grasp its rich history, stroll through the famous souqs (markets), purchase some oriental products at tempting prices from local vendors, wonder at the intricate Mamluk buildings, and sail over the mesmerizing Nile on a traditional Nile boat among local Rosetta families for a laid-back afternoon.
This holiday will also see us spend a day at Madyia Village for: a cruise on the scenic Edku Lake on a felucca- as you immerse yourself in the life of local fishermen, a dive into the unique nature and palm tree farms, a buggy tour of the renowned Edku Fort and the early 18th century British cannons it still showcases, a traditional local lunch at Madyia Sports Club, and last but not least, a kayaking adventure on the Edku Lake.

Itineraries
Day 1
Al Montazah
• After arriving in Alexandria, check into the Hotel - Overnight at Alexandria
Day 2
Rosetta - Edku
• Enjoy a delightful local breakfast at the hotel
• Take a minibus to the historic city of Rosetta at the mouth of a river. and learn about the British expeditionary force and the Rosetta Stone.
• Head to the second largest open museum of Islamic art in Egypt, second to Cairo.
• For lunch, stop by grilled oriental Restaurant for an aperitive local specialty
• Gather at the hotel for a wonderful dinner and overnight stay in Alexandria.
Day 3
El- Madeya - Edku
• Great the day with a yummy breakfast at the hotel
• Head to El-Madeya Village and walk along the fishing piers to sail on the lake. And lives of local fishermen.
• Take a walk through the alleys of the Fish Marketm, Choose the fresh fish and Asian spices you like best for lunch and Enjoy the fish cooked by the locals on El-Madeya Beach, where you can share lunch with the fishermen in a warm folklore setting.
• Return to the hotel in Alexandria for a nice dinner in the hotel’s garden or by the pool. - Overnight at Alexandria
Day 4
Edku
• Breakfast at the hotel
• Head to Edku to take a horse-drawn buggy through the palm tree farms. You can also see how the locals make palm leaf ropes and cages in their workshops.
• Explore the area where the Edku Fort.
• Drive to El Madeya to have lunch at the El Madeya Sports Club.
• On the El Madeya beach, you can drink local tea or juice, or you can get in a kayak and paddle around the lake.
• End the day with nice dinner and overnight at the hotel in Alexandria.
Day 5
Departure
• Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and pack for departure.
